JJI Technologies green non-halogen flame retardant PolyFR™ polypropylene plastic compounds are designed with the planet in mind.

Unlike today’s conventional fire safe materials that use toxic brominated flame retardants or PVC, PolyFR™ compounds:
- Contain no halogens such as Flourine, Chlorine, Bromine, or Iodine
- Contain no heavy metals, or Magnesium
- Have a fast acting intumescent foam barrier that is deployed upon heat contact
- Produces no toxic or corrosive gases in the event of a fire. Our smoke contains some of the lowest levels of CO2 & CO, making it safer for firefighters and first responders due to non-toxic low smoke and thermal shielding.
- Minimizes collateral damage in the event of a fire.

PolyFR™-100 compound is a non-halogen flame retarded polypropylene compound designed for use in applications where UL-94 V-0 performance is required. It has outstanding low temperature impact strength, tensile properties and leading edge electrical performance. It is recyclable.
PolyFR™ Glass-Filled Compounds
PolyFR™-160 compound is a non-halogen flame retarded glass-filled polypropylene compound designed for use in applications where high stiffness and flame retardant performance is required. It has outstanding impact strength and tensile properties. It is recyclable.
