JJI Technologies manufactures its JJAZZ ® series of Flame Retardant Additive Systems which can be used to provide flame resistance for a variety of plastic resins such as Polypropylene, Polyethylene, TPE, TPU, TPV and others.

Flame Retardant
Our standard, self-catalyzed intumescent flame retardant designed to easily integrate into a variety of coatings and plastics applications.
JJAZZ ® is supplied in three micron sizes to fit your particular application:
JJAZZ ® – SP-1 (medium): A median size designed for extrusion applications and other areas where particle size is critical.
JJAZZ ® – SP-2 (fine): A median size designed for textile applications and other areas where particle size is extremely critical.
JJAZZ ® – SP-3 (coarse): A median size designed for molding applications, larger-walled extrusion applications or wherever particle size is not a critical factor.
JJAZZ ® 2MA Non-Halogen Flame Retardant Performance System
JJAZZ ® 2MA Flame Retardant Performance System is our highly effective FR package combined with a synergistic additive. JJAZZ ® 2MA allows materials to consistently meet moderately difficult flame test standards such as UL94 V0.
JJAZZ® 2MA is supplied in all three particle sizes noted above.
JJAZZ ® 4MA Non-Halogen Flame Retardant Performance System
JJAZZ ® 4MA Flame Retardant Performance System is our highly effective FR package combined with a synergistic additive to provide a greater quick-deploying char layer. JJAZZ ® 4MA allows materials to consistently meet extremely difficult flame test standards such as ASTM E84.
JJAZZ® 4MA is supplied in all three particle sizes noted above.
JJI Technologies has developed a new flame retardant for nylon resins
JJI Technologies' new breakthrough development of a 100% organic, higher temperature flame retardant additive intended for use in today's engineered resin systems such as Nylon 6 and Nylon 6/6 resins. Initial tests signify a low loading level of 8-15% in unfilled Nylon resins to achieve a UL94 V-O rating.
